The blessings keep coming for Mr and Mrs Mutura, the endearing couple who warmed their way into Kenyans’ hearts with a simplistic wedding that cost them Sh100.
Wilson Wanjohi Mutura, 27, and Ann Muhonja, 23, wed on Sunday, January 22 at Community Christian Worship Centre in Kasarani, Nairobi in a ceremony that set them back Sh100 for their wedding rings.
Their story captured the minds and hearts of many and soon after, they were on an all expense paid honeymoon in Diani, courtesy of Bonfire Adventures – a local tour and travel company.
Then came the Sh 1 Million investment project from Diamond Properties which includes an eighth-acre plot valued at half a million shillings with a Sh320,000 greenhouse and capsicum crop in Isinya, Kajiado County.

To top it all off, a sponsored grand wedding ceremony on the most romantic day of the year, February 14, that is estimated to have cost Sh 3.5 Million.
Most recently, the couple set up a shop in Mwiki Kasarani and we have been informed that it is picking up well.
With news that they are expecting their first child, more wellwishers have joined couple’s journey to parenthood.
Komarock Modern Hospital, through the Managing Director Harriet Njiru Nyamu, has offered the couple a free maternity package.
According to Ndungu Nyoro, the package will include:
1. Free gynecology consultation normally 2500 per visit.
2. Free ANC profile tests worth 4K.
3. Free delivery, Normal is usually charged 40k and Ceaserean is charged 120k( either)
4. Free immunization as per Kepi for the baby on delivery.
5. They will pay for medications, without complications it is only supplements.
