One of Kenya’s Rich Kids of Instagram, Anerlisa Muigai is officially off the market.
The popular daughter of Keroche Breweries founder and CEO Tabitha Karanja, is engaged to be married to her long-term boyfriend, Stephen.
Anerlisa who started her incredible weight loss journey last year, had a ring put on her finger over the weekend and took to social media to break the news.
She wrote;
“Waiting is a sign of true love and patience. Anyone can say ” I love you ” but not everyone can wait and prove it’s true.
After 5 years I have been engaged by the only person i wished to spend my life with.
When I was a young girl I used to think that beauty and how i looked physically is what made a man marry a woman. Wrong!!! It’s about taking care and respecting him.
Call me old school but I am one of those girls who cook everyday and iron clothes every morning. Not that I can’t get anyone to do it, I feel more of a woman doing them. I have come across ladies who won’t go work in the kitchen because they do not want to spoil their nails.
Commitment takes a lot of sacrifice and patience. The way you maintain and make yourself look should all be a bonus.
You can also never rush a man into marrying you. I used to wonder why he was taking so long to propose yet I thought I had everything he needed but trust me there is something deeper a man look for in a woman. Patience is a virtue.”

On Monday, she had more reasons to celebrate as she turned 29 Years Old.
Anerlisa, founder and CEO of NERO Company, reflected on her last one year in which she has achieved a remarkable weight transformation that has made her the go-to weight loss champion in the Kenyan internet space.
Alongside a photo of her ‘before and after,’ Anerlisa wrote, “Greatful for another year and also grateful for everyone who gives me support everyday. sometimes I want to go back to my bad eating habits but when I remember how many people I inspire, I just can’t deal with letting anyone down. Words cannot describe how that makes me feel.”
