Bus Company Citi Hoppa has resorted to new ways of punishing rogue crew members that involve shaming them in public.
This is after a bus conductor in one of their buses was seen on Thursday morning carrying a placard that read; “Please drivers and conductors treat our customers well they are our kings. Don’t be like me.”
The employee was reportedly punished for mishandling a passenger in one of the buses. He was forced to display the placard at Nairobi’s Kencom stage.
The punishment was aimed at sending a warning to the rest of the matatu crew to treat their customer with respect.
