Monied businessman Chris Obure has been arrested days after he was accused of using his firearm to threaten revelers outside B Club in Nairobi.

The incident outside the popular club was Obure’s fifth reported altercation involving misuse of a firearm.

According to a report made at Kilimani Police station, Mr Obure had double parked his Range Rover at the premises blocking other revelers.

When he was asked to move his car, Mr Obure got infuriated, drew his pistol and threatened to shoot the two customers.

He then reportedly smashed a driver’s windscreen of a Volkswagen Passat.

On November last year, Mr Obure was involved in another altercation at Klub House in Parklands. He had then threatened to shoot Mr Alex Lwin but no action was taken.

Police have urged members of the public who may have been threatened by Mr Obure to record statements.
