Mbita MP Millie Odiambo will be spending time behind bars for insulting the President within the precincts of Parliament.

The High Court has granted the controversial legislator reprieve in her suit which she sought to prevent police from arresting and prosecuting her over her offensive remarks.

Judge Luka Kimaru has directed the police not to arrest Millie until investigations are complete.

The judge has further directed Millie to present herself at the Parliament police station on January 12 at 10 am to help the police with their investigations.
