Deputy President WillIam Ruto on Tuesday presented his thesis report to the director of Biological Sciences at the University of Nairobi.
Ruto’s thesis report is on the impact of human activities on riparian reserves at Saiwa Swamp, Trans Nzoia County.
Posting photos of the presentation on his official Facebook page, Ruto wrote:
“Presenting my Ph.D. progress report to the director of School of Biological Sciences, University of Nairobi, Professor Paul Ndegwa and my supervisor, Professor Jenesio Kinyamario, on the impact of human activities on riparian reserves at Saiwa Swamp, Trans Nzoia County.”
Ruto graduated with a degree in Botany and Zoology from the University of Nairobi in 1990.
He later enrolled for a Masters degree in Environmental Science and graduated in 2011 before pursuing the PhD in Biological Sciences.
