The firebrand Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO has vowed to crack down on the prime time ‘marriage counselor’, as well as Maina Kageni and others who discuss sexual topics outside the specified times.
In a quickly edited Facebook post, this is what Mr. Mutua wrote.
So Muhamnad Ali, Ezekiel Mutua and KFCB are trending on twitter. Reason? I have announced that Wedding Show Programmes, Marriage Counsellors like Bi Msafari ( Citizen TV ) and those who host such programmes, Maina & Kingangi ( Classic 105 ) will be required to take their adult sexual topics out of the watershed period. Anyone thinking we are kidding will be in for a rude awakening. I will walk to the studio with police and have the said Bi. Msafari, Maina & Kingangi arrested if they defy these guidelines. We must ensure that content meant for adults is not aired during the watershed period. This is not negotiable
