Just like she has done every year, former NTV’s AM Live show host Sheila Mwanyigha has paid tribute to her late dad in a moving post on social media.
In her heartfelt message to celebrate her dad’s birthday on Tuesday 10th, Sheila writes about how she thinks about him everyday especially on his birthday.
“I thought about you today. But I thought about you yesterday, and the day before that too. Come to think of it, I think about you every day! And especially today,” reads part of the post.
She continues to wonder what life would be like if he was still around, and what he would say about how Sheila and her family have lived without him.

“I bet you thought I forgot!! But SURPRISE!! I didn’t- you really should know by now, that I would never forget.
I thought about you today. But I thought about you yesterday, and the day before that too. Come to think of it, I think about you every day! And especially today.
In my thoughts today, I wonder whether you would have indulged that sweet tooth you left me with, and had cake. I wonder what gift, you would have been secretly hoping to receive. I wonder what you would think about almost sharing your day, with Princess A who turns two in two days time- and how thrilled you would have been to share the day with her! I wonder, whether you would be on social media, or like mum, choose not to post about life, but live it instead.
I wonder whether you still sing and write music. I wonder whether you miss us, as much as we miss you. I wonder whether you think of us, as we think of you!
I know we shall see you soon, of that I am sure, but that doesn’t keep us from thinking about you with every passing day.
