Nairobi senator Mike Sonko was born to be a comedian! As the Kenya rugby 7s team jetted back in the county on Tuesday, the senator was among those who accorded the winning team a befitting heroic welcome at JKIA.
The flamboyant legislator splashed millions of shillings as he showed up to welcome Shujaas with a fleet of limousines. The senator also vowed to reward each of the 12 team members with Ksh 100,000.
During the celebrations on Tuesday, a light hearted moment took place as Sonko and the team were giving thanks to God through praise and worship. The leader was caught on camera hiding a bottle of Black Label under the table as he led the team to a praise and worship song.
