Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant, Johnson Sakaja on Tuesday night gave people a taste of what he was once popular for- rapping.
The nominated Member of Parliament showed off his rapping skills at Groove Awards nomination night at the Kenya National Theater. Sakaja dropped his bars with the help of a volunteer beatboxer by the name, Ted.
After the 30 second performance, they got a standing ovation from the audience.
Back in 2006, Sakaja was a rapper and a bass guitarist in a music band called Mission Driven. NTV’s business news anchor Dann Mwangi was also a member of the band that released the song ‘Save me savior’.
