BBC weather girl Rachel Mackley collapsed and fainted on air.
The mum of one, 33, passed out after stumbling backwards and telling viewers and colleagues: “I’m so sorry, I’m going to faint.”
Producers swiftly cut the camera feed focusing on the mum-of-one and moved back to concerned presenters Polly Evans and Rob Smith.
Clearly worried for his colleague’s safety moments before she collapsed, Mr Smith could be seen urging fellow staff: “Quick, quick chaps, if we could sort Rachel out there.”
Understandably appearing shocked, Miss Evans told viewers: “We just need to have a check on Rachel there.” (Mirror.co.uk)
