Easy FM Set To Rebrand To Nation FM

Local radio station, Easy FM will tonight rebrand to Nation FM. The station popular with Rhythm and Blues music will now incorporate more talk and conversations about day to day life occurrences.
According to head of radio in Nation Media Group, Manwa Magoma, programming has been on the test since January.
“We have been running the breakfast show, State of the Nation, to have a lot of current affairs with topics ranging from security issues to governance,” he revealed.
Manwa revealed that from Thursday, the station will go on air as Nation FM with content tailor made for diverse audience. News bulletins will be transmitted at the top of every hour with comprehensive 15 minutes bulletins at 1pm and 6pm.
“The evening drive will have a segment on the news of the day with music that cuts across the genres,” added Mr Manwa as reported by NairobiNews.
The new station will also meet the needs of sports fans with the inclusion of a variety of sports news bulletins during the breakfast show and in the afternoon on weekends.
