tigerthumb_20140403The brains behind Willy Paul’s Lala Salama video is apparently a con. On March 28, he spent the day behind bars at Jogoo Police station.
Nelson Ominde popularly known as Tiger was arrested for obtaining money amounting to Sh30,000 from upcoming artiste Sadfa Amke in the pretence that he could shoot a video for his song Nataka Nikujue.
Tiger was bailed out by a friend who also refunded Sadfa’s money. It is reported that the producer sent a text message to Sadfa saying: “Mzae hatuna deni from now so kindly mind your business if you don’t want to mess up your life.”
According to The Nairobian, Tiger at first dismissed the allegations claiming to ‘have never stepped into any police station all his life’. But an hour later, he contacted The Nairobian threatening to deal with whoever ratted out the information that he was arrested.
“I know the law. I will sue him.” he said.
This is not the first time Tiger has been on the wrong side of the law, having reportedly been arrested during the Groove Awards in 2011 for stealing a camera.
