Wanted Husband of Former News Anchor Anne Ngugi Still on The Loose

The case involving former K24 and KTN news anchor, Anne Ngugi has taken another twist after police received conflicting reports about her husband’s whereabouts. Anne has been implicated in the case where she is accused of conspiring to defraud Nigerian businessmen money amounting to  Sh 6 million.
The journalist was in court on Tuesday 25 for the mention of the case, but her husband Hypolite Nyogbia was conspicuously missing. According to the police, he is still at large and efforts to arrest him have not yielded any fruits.
“There has been conflicting reports about his (Mr. Nyogbia’s) whereabouts from his friends. While some say he has fled to Uganda; others say he escaped to Tanzania or Kinshasa,” an officer investigating the case told Nairobi News.
Mr Nyogbia is believed to have moved houses to evade the police but the plaintiff, Mr Fabian Chibiebule Ohare told Nairobi Flying Squad officers that he was in the country.
