Kenya Post Election Violence Movie To Premiere In Namibia

A move based on Kenya’s post election violence, ‘Something Necessary’,  is set to premier in Namibia this Saturday.
The movie focuses on the life of a kenyan lady by the name Anne, who is on the verge of rebuilding her life after she lost everything during the violence. She lost her husband, her child was left sick and her home destroyed. She meets Joseph, who is the leader of a gang that took part in the violence and together they embark on rebuilding their lives.
The movie is produced by Sarika Hemi Lakhani, Tom Tykwer, and Ginger Wilson.
It will premier at the Goethe Center in Widhoek.
