Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Monday signed the anti-gay bill, that will lead to tougher penalties for homosexuals. There has been a lot of reactions from Ugandans and the international community. Several western countries have declared that it will not be business as usual, with a few already freezing aid. Many African leaders including our own president have however remained mum.
Whatever side of the debate you lie, you have to admit that Museveni’s move was bold.
