Why Gidi Gidi Donated Sh50,000 To Gor Mahia

They say that if you can’t take the heat, then you should get out of the kitchen. After an attempt for the treasurer’s position in the Gor Mahia elections, Gidi Gidi  decided to take that advice.
The singer-cum-radio presenter opted out of the elections after, as he puts it, ‘things got intense and rumours about rigging started circulating.’
” There were rumours about rigging. I did not want drama, so i opted to stay away and support the club as a fan on the bench.” He told Nairobian newspaper.
He also decided to donate the Ksh 50, 000 registration fee for the elections to the club. Now thats a true fan right there.
Gidi Gidi is said to be pursuing his masters degree in Business Administration at the Strathmore University.
