First rising Meru comedian Kanana Kagwiria is dead.
According to Ghafla, Kagwiria fell ill over the weekend and was admitted at Consolata Nkubu Mission Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Kagwira shot to fame after she appeared in the tenth episode of KTN’s Hapa Kule news ‘ Keeping up with the Kagwirias’ . Watch the episode here.
Abel Mutua sent her condolence message saying the show has suffered a huge loss and will not be the same without her.
“It really hurts to lose a colleague who had so much potential. This was to be your year but God had other plans. Hapa Kule News will never be the same without you. Rest In Peace Purity Muirigi aka Kagwiria. We will miss you dearly.”
