On Sunday, Deputy President William Ruto took a strong stand on the issue of teenage pregnancy. Speaking during an interdenominational prayer meeting at Kapsokwonyi town, the Deputy President ordered Chiefs in Mt. Elgon District to arrest culprits involved in impregnating school going girls.
As if not enough, Ruto took to twitter to announce that chiefs would be held responsible for early pregnancies in their areas.
