By now you’ve already found out that Jalang’o has resigned from Kiss 100. For 5 years, he co-hosted Kiss 100 Big Breakfast show alongside Caroline Mutoko, and last week he called it quits.
Reportedly, the comedian went into private business, and will now concentrate on growing his own media company.

On Friday, Jalas wrote the following letter to his colleagues and fans.

“Its hard to tell you this but in one way or another I have to. In life everybody has a dream and until you dare to execute that dream, it will just be a dream. You have the choice to sleep and enjoy the dream or wake up and chase the dream.
After 5 years at KISS 100, I have decided to chase my dream somewhere else. I have decided to go for another challenge in the quest of my happiness somewhere else!

Today is my last show at KISS and how I wish I had done it with Caroline and officially say bye to her only that she was not able to. I’m hosting my last show here with a great woman who was the first to welcome me at Kiss 100 and believed in me. That’s my sister Kalekye Mumo. I love and will miss you a lot. Working with you has been fun!.
Shaffie I cant say bye to you because you know where we meet. Caroline you were my boss, my friend, my sister and my teacher. I learnt a lot from you for my career and life. I can’t afford it! Linda Nyangweso, lil sister you the best. Your smile always brightens my day. I’ll miss you. Will surely miss you!
To you my fans… mmm I don’t have fans, I have my family… #TeamJalas! To you my family we are still together. I love and will always!
See you soon on a TV next to you and on another radio ,another channel! I love you.
‘CHANGE IS AS GOOD AS A REST’ “

Radio Africa has moved first to find a suitable replacement for Jalang’o and Eric Omondi it is. Yesterday, the comedian announced that he would be taking over through this statement.

“Tomorrow I start work on the Kiss 100 breakfast show alongside the gorgeous and sophisticated Caroline Mutoko and the beautiful Linda Nyangweso.”

So there you have it, it’s now Caroline and Omondi in the morning.
