Al Shabaab’s Rendition of Kenya’s National Anthem

The word Terrorism has become a household name in Kenya. Its mention sends chills in spines of many as it’s not known when and where the they are going to strike next. This has not deterred Kenyans from taking their daily chores but rather made them more vigilant.
Not only have the perpetrators of the recent attacks in Nairobi and Mombasa sent shock waves across Kenya but they have now released a video with their own rendition of Kenya’s national anthem.
The group represented by four men have “corrupted” the Swahili version of the national anthem  and used their own words to turn it into an Al Shabaab war chant of sorts.
