Kenya’s highly-acclaimed digital artist Osborne Macharia has added another impressive accolade to his growing list of remarkable achievements.

The talented artist has for the first time shot Hollywood actors in New Orleans, Louisiana after he was handpicked by renowned film director Ava DuVernay to shoot the key artwork for the American Drama series Queen Sugar.

The show is executively produced by Ava DuVernay and Oprah Winfrey and airs on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

Over the weekend, an elated Osborne Macharia could not contain himself as both Ava and Oprah shared his artwork on their socials.

Osborne took to Instagram to post: “When both Queens, @oprah and @ava share your work then you know for sure you are living your purpose. Humbled to have been handpicked by Ava DuVernay to shoot the Key Art for @owntv show #QueenSugarand my first time shooting Hollywood actors. If I was to appreciate everyone involved to make this happen then my post would go on for days, but I appreciate everyone involved from the bottom of my heart. ”

This comes months after Osborne was commissioned by Marvel to create an “exclusive art piece” for the launch of Black Panther in London.
