The album, which sums up Victoria’s life through travel, things she has learned along the way, and inspirations she has carried throughout her life as a child to traveling missionaries, appears to have earned her a call from the United Nations.

As a female voice in Africa, Victoria Kimani was a delegate at the United Nations conference in New York last week.

In addition to sharing her story with UN ambassadors from all over the world, the ‘March Along’ singer spoke on a number of issues including social inclusion and having creative freedom in Africa.

“I spoke about Social inclusion and why our unique voices are each important, as a female voice in Africa, it was awesome to share my views with like minded individuals at the United Nations Headquarters,” said Kimani.

“I touched on having creative freedom in Africa, being a diverse woman in an otherwise judgemental space and shifting the culture one day at a time.”
