American singer, songwriter, rapper, actor and dancer Omari Ishmael Grandberry better known as Omarion will be performing in Nairobi next month.
The R&B star will be headlining the maiden Afro Pop festival at Ngong Racecourse on June 3.
The organizers broke the news saying: “We promised exciting news and we can finally share!!!!!ARE YOU READY????? Courtesy of #afropopfestival Omarion will be in Nairobi! Issa Party! Mark the date 3rd June is the D Day at the Ngong’ Race Course.”
The former lead singer of the American R&B boy band B2K confirmed the concert in an Instagram video and said he is excited to perform in Nairobi.
“ Waddup Nairobi! it’s the one and only Omarion I will be live at the Afro Pop Festival, the biggest event in East Africa, 30 June it’s gonna be too lit at the Ngong racecourse!”
Afro Pop Festival is a premiere festival aimed at celebrating talents from all parts of Africa. The festival seeks to create a greater sense of community in Africa by linking up artists and bringing together people of different cultures, race and age.
