Online dating app – Bumble – has apologized to Donald Kipkorir after the popular Kenyan lawyer raised a complaint via Twitter.

In a tweet that he published on Saturday, March 18, the flamboyant city lawyer reported that someone was using his details 0n the dating app.

Donald claimed a friend sent him a screenshot of his purported profile, bearing his image and supposed age.

The 52-year-old lawyer also mentioned he can’t join a dating app because of his Catholic faith.

“Dear @BumbleSupport@bumble… I had never heard of Bumble until today when a friend of mine sent me my following profile showing I am on Bumble… As a Roman Catholic, I can’t join a Dating Site. Kindly block the person using my profile picture below & my name Donald,” he tweeted.

Bumble wrote back to him and apologized for the impersonation.

“We’re sorry this is happening! Fake profiles go 100% against our guidelines. Please send us a DM so we can find this account,” said Bumble.
