Musician Stevo Simple Boy is in mourning following the death of his father, Anthony Adera.
A statement from the rapper’s management indicated that Stevo and his family woke up to the sad news on Sunday morning.
“We woke up with sad news this morning announcing the death of Anthony Adera, father to Stephen Otieno Adera, famously known as Stevo Simple Boy,” wrote Men In Business (MIB).
“We urge all his fans and friends to stand with him during this tough times and put him in prayers. May his soul rest in peace,” the statement added.
Stevo Simple Boy on his part issued a statement on Monday thanking his fans for their support. He also asked for their prayers in this difficult time.
“Nashukuru Sana mashabiki kwa kunisapoti huu wakati wote ila nimepata msiba wa kupoteza Babangu mzazi naomba mniombee na mnipee nguvu wakati huu,” he wrote.
