On Thursday morning, former Machakos first lady Lilian Ng’ang’a came out to announce that her split from Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has not been amicable, as portrayed in public.
She said that Mutua has threatened to ‘crush her’, and has proceeded to do exactly that.
Lilian revealed how Mutua has fraudulently stolen her property, starting with a car registered in her name. The governor has also transferred her company shares to his sister, in a bid to finish her financially.
On top of that, Lilian said that Mutua has threatened to cause bodily harm, even going to the extent of threatening to kill people close to her. For that reason, she filed a restraining order last month.
Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga is now coming to Lilian’s defense. Tweeting shortly after Lilian went public, Omanga applauded her courage, and told off Mutua.
“I stand with Lilian Nganga and I’m enthused by his boldness and courage to firmly confront the challenges she is facing. We must end and ruthlessly deal with all forms of Gender-based violence. Ukiachwa, achika!” she wrote.
