The first round of the Spanish La Liga after an almost three-month break turned out to be very interesting. It’s definitely worth it to watch all football live results of the remaining matches, because the fate of the champion title has not been decided yet, and the teams that will be kicked out to the lower division have not been determined.
The 28th round was especially interesting thanks to the performance of the Catalan Barcelona, which played better than the rest of the La Liga teams. The Blue Garnets defeated Mallorca and gained confidence in their abilities.
As always, Leo Messi was good, and the team’s rookie Martin Braithwaite has scores his debut goal thanks to the pass rom the Argentine genius. Barcelona fully controlled the entire match and, most importantly, it managed to keep the goal of Marc Andre Ter Stegen intact.
Among other best matches of the 28th round, it is worth highlighting the following:
1. Real Madrid – Eibar, 3:1. The Royal club literally crushed the opponent in the first half, which resulted in a quick goal by Tony Kroos. Sergio Ramos and Marcelo scored a goal each. As to what happened in the second half, even Zinedine Zidane did not understand that and was very angry at such relaxed play.
2. Athletic – Atletico, 1:1. As always, the derby was a bitter struggle, but apart from the goals by Iker Muniain and Diego Costa in the first half, no team was able to realize their moments more.
3. Espanyol – Alaves, 2:0. The Catalans are struggling to stay in La Liga for the next season. The victory over Alaves somewhat added them chances, but there are still enough games ahead to change the situation.
Valencia’s performance was poor, but Getafe lost, too. Teams are fighting for a place in the Champions League. They will also fight against Real Sociedad and Atletico.
What are the chances of Atletico to get to the 4th place of La Liga?
Many experts positively assess Atletico’s chances to take the fourth position of the standings. It is thanks to the current intrigue in the championship that fans should carefully watch all football live results of the Spanish League. In general, the Mattress-makers are not enthusiastic about their current form, especially the head coach Diego Simeone.
Atletico has not the most busy calendar, except for matches against Barcelona and Real Sociedad. However, this season clearly demonstrates that the middling club can take away points from more eminent rivals. Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletic have experienced this many times.
