The highly-anticipated collaboration between gospel songbirds Wahu and Size 8 finally premiered on YouTube on Tuesday drawing mixed reactions from Kenyans.

Dubbed ‘Power Power’, the collab is a high-energy anthem, a sharp contrast to the praise and worship songs usually associated with the former secular singers. As a result, some fans are of the opinion that ‘Power Power’ sounds more secular than gospel.

At the same time, another section of fans are loving the collaboration between two of their favorite gospel musicians.

‘Power Power’ also serves as Wahu’s first collaboration since making the switch from secular to gospel music. And who better to collaborate with than Size 8, who has been trying to get Wahu on a project for quite some time.

Bern Mziki wrote and produced ‘Power Power’ while the eye-catching video is the work of Young Wallace.
