The wheels of justice are yet to start rolling in the murder case of former “Vioja Mahakamani” actor, Jamal Nassul Gadafi.
The main suspect in the case, Ms Grace Kananu Namu, has been arraigned in Court but did not take a plea.
Ms Kananu, who allegedly stabbed Gaddafi to death, was to answer to the murder charges on Tuesday for the case to commence.
However, the Machakos High Court heard that a medical report was not available.
When Justice George Odunga asked the Prisons Department why the suspect had not been taken to Mathare Hospital, he was told that the psychiatrist had gone for December holidays and could not attend to her.
On December 27, the court ordered that she be taken for medical assessment.
Justice Odunga ordered that the test be done this week for plea taking on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
