The moment all Kenyan music lovers have been waiting for is finally here. Two of the country’s top music acts – Sauti Sol and Nyashinski – have come together to bless us with a brilliant song.
Titled “Short N Sweet”, it is the Afro-pop band’s fifth release off their ingenious new LP, Afrikan Sauce.
The releases are part of the band’s unconventional album release involving the unveiling of the tracks over a twelve-month period — featuring top artists from all across Africa.
Keeping true to their word, they just dropped the follow up to their Khaligraph Jones-assisted track Rewind. And they could not have tapped anyone better than the much loved and highly acclaimed Nyashinski, whose fans have been crying for his next song for three months after his last release Bebi Bebi on Valentine’s Day.
Short n Sweet is currently available on the Songa music app and AppleMusic for everyone outside Kenya.
YouTube users will have to wait a little longer for the music video that Sauti Sol manager, Marek Fuchs, has promised will be out soon.
