A University of Nairobi learner was on Wednesday found unconscious in a thicket near Mangu High School after surviving a traumatizing rape ordeal.
The first year law student was reportedly drugged and abducted at the Kenya National Archives building within Nairobi’s CBD.
She was then raped and dumped in a thicket in Waitethie area near Mangu along Thika Road where she was found unconscious by members of the public.
The student was taken to the Nairobi Women hospital where she was treated and discharged.
One suspect has been arrested, with police on the manhunt for two other accomplices.
By press time, police were yet to identify the drug used by the abductors but they took blood samples from the victim for tests.
