‘Mbao Mbao’ YouTube sensation Justin Bradford is making headlines once again, this time as a singer.
Justin, who now goes by a typically Kenyan name Justo, instantly became an online sensation in the country after he took over the ‘Snap254’ Snapchat account in August last year. The American-born not only impressed Kenyans with his command of Swahili but with his accurate and hilarious depiction of Kenya’s Matatu culture.
With his newfound fame, Justo has gone on to become a popular vlogger on YouTube where he documents in Swahili.
A few days ago, he surprised many when he dropped his first single dubbed ‘Ukitaka.’ Justo will be releasing it officially at 40-Forty Lounge on January 27. The launch will be combined with his birthday party as he turns a year older on January 28.
Justo revealed the inspiration behind the hit single saying: “I have a passion for Swahili and singing. My mother always sang to me as a child and it inspired me to sing well.”
The music video is already well above 25k views on YouTube, with Kenyans noting that he is actually talented musically.
