The best selling Kenyan novel of all time, ‘My Life in Crime’, is finally coming to the small screen.
After years of speculation and missteps, a Kenyan production company, AfreDev, optioned the TV rights to the novel plus its sequel ‘My Life with a Criminal: Milly’s Story’, for a TV show set to air locally from June 2018.
According to the producers, the show’s script will stay as close to the books as possible, apart from a few necessary changes.
The amount paid for the rights remain undisclosed.
