Joey spoke to Sunday Magazine about how she spends her Sundays.

Sunday is the day…

I rest up for the week ahead.

Once I am up…

I get ready for the early church service
If I could replace Sunday with any other day It would be…..
A Monday. Sometimes it’s a little tough getting back into the groove of things after the weekend.
What I love most about Sundays….

Is how peaceful it is on the roads in Nairobi. There’s little traffic and lots of parking in most places.

What I don’t like about Sundays….

How close it is to Monday. Sometimes it feels like I’m just counting the hours until its ‘back to reality’ time.

Sunday menu….

I don’t have a specific menu on Sundays. I don’t mind grabbing lunch with friends at one of my favourite restaurants or just staying home and making a meal after church.

That one thing you have always wanted to do but haven’t done….
I’ve been wanting to go down to Karura forest for a bike ride or a hike. Hopefully I’ll get to do that one of these days.

Sunday activities include….

Spending time with family and having a nice meal together.

Sunday tracks….

If I listen to music at all it’s usually gospel. Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, Tasha Cobbs, etc.
