Three students are expected to appear before the court for allegedly torching their school’s dormitory.
The students of Muhuri Muchiri Secondary School in Ruai area, Nairobi are said to have carried out the arson attack on Monday night as other students were in night studies.
According to police, no one was injured in the inferno that was contained by fire fighters from Nairobi County. Property of unknown value was, however, destroyed.
Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome said the students are expected in court to face arson charges.
A team of detectives visited the school to launch a probe the incident.
Muhuri Muchiri Secondary School is a boy’s public boarding secondary school, located in Ruai location, Nairobi County.
