You were saying something about Njaanuary and the economy… let me stop you right there.
Our president watch game keeps getting better… and costly.
Over the weekend, he addressed the media from Sagana State Lodge, and on his wrist was a watch worth more than Sh2 million; an ‘Arnold & Son HM Perpetual Moon’. There are several variations to this one, and most cost more than $20,000 (Sh2 million).
Perhaps the 18-carat red gold has something to do with the insane price tag. The strap is hand-stitched alligator leather.
As you will remember, this is not the first time we are featuring the president’s wrist watches. Last year, we wrote about his expensive collection worth in excess of Sh13 million. If we add this latest one, that’s now Sh15 million. And that’s only what we know.
Check out his other wrist watches.
