Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga once famously stated that he is a cousin to US President Barack Obama.
When Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan interviewed him last week, he was sure to remind him of that and seek clarification. Perhaps foreigners do not understand African concept of family.
This was Raila’s response.
