May 4, 2016

teargas hurumaCORD leaders were on Tuesday afternoon caught up in a chaotic scene during their visit at the scene of the collapsed building in Huruma.
Opposition leaders, Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula were making their first visit of the area when police lobbed tear gas canisters to disperse the large crowd that had tried to forcefully access the scene.
The three CORD principals had been accompanied by former Member of Parliament Reuben Ndolo and nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro.
The incident comes days after the CORD principals were caught up in another chaotic scene during their march to IEBC offices in Nairobi to force for the removal of the commissioners from office.
After calm returned, the CORD leaders visited Starehe CDF offices where they met the 6-month-old baby who was rescued from the rubble Tuesday morning, four days after the tragedy.
Here is a video from the incident.
