Football betting is threatening to destroy the lives of thousands of young people in this country. Hundreds of thousands put their money on the line every day hoping to multiply it greatly.
More often than not, they lose.
The numerous stories of people who have gambled their rent money, school fees etc., or even of those who have committed suicide, have not done anything to slow the uptake of betting.

A shop attendant in Ongata Rongai has spent a total of Sh109,000 of his employer’s money gambling. Worse is that he has been placing losing bets.
