Pomp and Colour as MP Kareke Mbiuki ‘Officially Opens’ a Transformer (PHOTOS)

With the 2017 elections edging closer, Kenyan politicians are resorting to all manner of ‘PR’ to impress voters.
Another case of an unbelievable ceremony has surfaced in Maara South Constituency, Tharaka Nithi County. Member of Parliament for the area Kareke Mbiuki, recently decided to hold and preside over the launch of an electric transformer.
The legislator even went as far as having a placard placed beneath the transformer to remind constituents of the ‘amazing’ fete he has accomplished.
