nenoThe Nairobi County government on Tuesday took over pastor James Ng’ang’a church over Sh507,404 land rate arrears.
According to revenue task force chairman John Ntoiti, Neno Evangelism Centre initially owed City Hall more but paid Sh200,000 last Friday. He added that shops and restaurants within the church compound were also closed over the debt accrued in two years.

City Hall also took over other premises namely, Safari Club Annex Restaurant, Postal Corporation of Kenya, Nakumatt Haile Selassie and the Kenyatta University Plaza, both owned by KU.
Annex had arrears of Sh1.4 million while Posta owes the county government Sh1.9 million.
