Moving on from the debacle of the SONU chairman being caught on camera roughing up an opponent, the controversial student leader is making headlines again, this time for a noble cause and of course some degree of showmanship.
During the fundraiser of a colleague, Stephen Wasonga, Babu Owino once again showed just how deep his pockets are.
Steve Wasonga is a 26 year old second year BCOM student at lower kabete campus who was diagnosed with liver cancer and has been admitted at Mp Shah hospital. He needs an estimated Ksh 3.5 million for medical treatment in India. Contributions can be sent through the Mpesa paybill number 513592.
On Tuesday, Babu was on hand to show his generosity as he donated Ksh 50,000 towards the noble cause.
