Despite the spirited fight by NTSA to have graffiti stripped of PSVs, if you have been commuting within the city then you may have noticed the rate at which matatus are getting pimped with artistic paintings that befits the routes they ply. For the past few months, there has been a serious competition among SACCO’s in a bid to modify and style their rides.
Well, I have come to learn that there is a bunch of creative guys whose work is to model toy vehicles and design how mini-buses should look like way before the shapes and paintings are transformed and modeled into reality.
Here’s a creative model of a typical souped up Kenyan matatu. I think they should start selling them as children toys. Check these photos out.
