5 Gunmen’s Dramatic Attempt To Raid Kayole Police Station Thwarted – PHOTOS

At around 10.30 p.m on Monday night, five armed gunmen stormed into Mihang’o Police Station with an intention of stealing firearms. However, all did not go well for the gunmen after the police officers present at the station refused to surrender their arms and instead started fighting back.
The situation got worse for the gunmen when additional police officers from Kayole Divisional Headquarters were called in to assist in the fight after being briefed of the incidence. On seeing that they were being outwitted, the gang decided to flee amid a deadly exchange of gunfire.
Addressing the press after the incident, Kayole OCPD Ali Nuno, said that one of the gang members was shot dead and another arrested as three others managed to escape. The one under custody is now providing police with information for further investigations.
