Star Newspaper’s New Policy on Covering Al Shabaab

The Star Newspaper has come up with a new policy that is meant to stop the stereotyping of certain groups of Kenyans.
Star writers will now be required to cease using words such as ‘Islamist’ or ‘Muslim’ to describe the Al Shabaab. Here’s a copy we’ve laid our hands on.
