Sunday May 11 was Mother’s day, a day set aside to celebrate all mothers across the face of the universe. Motherhood is never an easy thing and there is nothing as heartbreaking and painful to a mother than losing a child. For former Miss India Kenya, Pinky Ghelani, the journey to the birth of her daughter, was a tough one.
Pinky Ghelani had to suffer through three miscarriages before she got pregnant with Aryana Raj, who turns four this year. Through her blog, In The Pink, Pinky shares her random thoughts on her life and especially motherhood. She also offers advice to other expectant mothers and her advice to women who have had a miscarriage is this: “My advice to mothers who have miscarried is mourn. It is important. Be angry, it is normal. Question, as you need to know the answer. Accept, this will allow you to move on. And pray, this will allow you to understand God’s will,” says Pinky.
Pinky never gave up and on her fourth pregnancy, she gave birth to an adorable baby girl. Check her out:
