I think that’s the most useless title we’ve ever written. How does showering in the office involve any of us..Anyway, we’re talking of Sonko here.
Yesterday, the Nairobi Senator arrived from New York at 6am and in his own words, rushed to his office, took a quick shower and changed for work.
All in a day’s job.
He later met Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards.
Here was his Facebook post.

My loved ones mko vipi? I thank God for granting me journey mercies by getting home safe and sound all the way from Newyork to unite again with my people. I landed at JKIA today early morning at 6AM, took a quick rush to my office, had a quick shower and changed for work to serve as usual. I jointly met and rewarded Nairobi soccer clubs, Gor mahia FC and AFC Leopards who are representing the country in the ongoing continental championships. Gor Mahia is playing US Britam in Gabon in the African champions Legue and were due to depart today at 11am, while AFC Leopards are due to play Defence FC of Ethiopia in the CAF CUP. I supported the clubs/teams with a total of Kshs. 1,600,000/-, which included 1,000,000/- from President Uhuru Kenyatta and 600,000/- from myself. The teams shared this money equally. In addition to this, if they win and qualify to the next round I pledged to give a further 500,000/- to each of our teams that qualifies and another 50,000/- to every goal scorer.
Amongst other issues we discussed with both teams, was how address and look for a permanent solution on soccer hooliganism. While seeing off Gor Mahia, I incidentally met pupils from Ndungori primary school, from Meru county at the airport, had a photo session with them and later donated 20,000/- to them for their drinks and snacks. On my way from the airport I attended an accident scene in South B, where a G4S lorry had veered off the road and rammed into houses injuring 12people who we managed to rush to different hospitals for treatment, however the company manager who later came to the scene, admitted liability and agreed the company will meet the damages and medical expenses caused by their truck.
It was a good day for me as the hearing of Sinai case kicked off where I testified as the first witness. While still in court I managed to secure orders in another fresh case I had jointly filed with BOG Kamkunji Secondary School against Inter-countries Importers and Exporters Ltd who had grabbed the Kamkunji’s Sec. School playground. The court restrained the grabbers from developing the said playground.
Finally natakia clubs zetu za Nairobi( Gor Mahia & Afc Leopards) kila la heri na ushindi mkubwa.
Any wishes kwa team zetu?

And the photos.
