Woman In Court For Stealing Quail Chicks Worth ksh 26, 000.

A woman was charged  in a Nyeri with stealing quail chicks worth ksh 26,000.
Ms Margret Wambui was accused of fraudulently acquiring the chicks on credit from one Mr Muchiri in Nyeri county. She denied the charges and was released on a cash bail of ksh. 30,000 and a bond of ksh 50,000.
She requested that she be allowed access to witness statements to enable her prepare a strong defence.
Chief Magistrate Wilbroda Juma, who will be hearing the case, directed that the case be mentioned on February 10 and a subsequent hearing on February 20.
