If you thought K24 only poached Citizen TV’s news anchors and reporters, then you’re wrong. They’re not stopping at news.
Kubamba krew’s DJ Soxxy, DJ Johni Celeb and DJ Sanch are the latest additions to the ‘digital migration’. K24 is owned by president elect Uhuru Kenyatta.
Yesterday, the three premiered the new gospel show on the station dubbed ‘The Switch’. It is supposed to rival Citizen TV’s Kubamba, which was until recently their home. The premiere show was shot at the roof top of Pawa 254, a hub that brings together artists, journalists and community organizers.
DJ Moz however remained at SK Macharia’s station.

Reading through online comments, the show was impressive and surely they made a right business choice in poaching the Deejays. Sunday morning market, previously kept under lock and key by Citizen, is once again on the table.
